Colors | Green in the bathroom

I love bathrooms with a green accent. White, green and gold can be an amazing color combination anywhere, but especially in the bathroom. I dream about having green tiles in my bathroom. However, you don’t need to go this far. All it will take to feel the freshness is some amazing green accessories. But first, take a look at some inspirations I picked for you.

There are so many beautiful inspirations that it was hard to choose only those above. I hope you like them too and feel inspired. I did not find any good accessories to buy for your green bathroom, so this time it is without the green bathroom collage. Hopefully, next time I will get luckier.

Colors | Green in the kitchen

Green in the kitchen is a very refreshing and calming color if it is light. Dark green should rather be used with moderation but it certainly adds elegance to the interior. You don’t need to paint your cupboards green because in some kitchens it could be too much. However, it looks especially good as a backdrop behind the cupboards on the main wall in the form of patterned or solid tiles. See for yourself how beautiful it is and how many ideas can pop up just by scrolling through the below inspirations.

This time I think I would choose light mint green for my kitchen. My green kitchen should be light and bright, and a happy place: I hate cooking, so the interior itself needs to be as pleasant as it gets. How about you, what would you choose? And if you don’t like going green on your walls or cupboards, maybe some green kitchen furniture or accessories will do the trick for you.

Colors | Green in the living room

I am back with new color series, this time green color series. It is one of my favorite colors and I think it regains its popularity in interior design. Emerald greens are very rich and look amazing with gold accessories but let’s not forget about mint and grass greens, which are also fantastic. Moreover, you can combine different shades of green together in a room for slightly eclectic look.

Today, I prepared green living room inspirations. If you think about letting green colors in your apartment, maybe all it will take is some throw pillows here and there, or even better: lots and lots of green plants! As I always say, small changes can make a huge impact.

Feeling inspired? My favorite green is deep and emerald. As I mentioned before, it can be combined with gold elements for the best effects, but also with pink or orange! It will look beautiful and very original. As usual, I also researched some of the green interior items to decorate your living room with. I focused more on toned greens rather than “happy” greens because they seem more elegant but I am sure I will post more inspirations on other greens in the future.

Colors | Red in the bedroom

Red bedroom does not sound very elegant, as red is especially unpopular in bedrooms. However, it can look very stylish and chic, even combined with other colors. Additionally, red is a color of love, so what better place to use it?

The sheets in different colors, including red, obviously, look excellent and fresh combined with flower patterns. Red and pink is also an unusual but brilliant combination. Sometimes all it takes is a splash of accent color in the textiles and that’s enough, but sometimes you can do a lot more and it will also look extraordinary. Take a look at the inspirations I found:

Colors | Red in the bathroom

Continuing the red color series, we take a look at red bathroom. As I mentioned before, red is not very popular in interiors recently, which is why it can be original, bold and not-so-mainstream to apply it to your interior design. Bathroom and bedroom are the places where this color is especially avoided. In bathroom, it can appear too lively and we tend to choose blue there, while bedrooms with a lot of red color may appear too vulgar. Of course, it is a matter of proportion and within reason red can be used in those interiors.

Come and get inspired to change something!

Doesn’t it look amazing? Patterned walls are especially great in small bathrooms but red cupboards and white walls are also very classic. Red and black is a bold statement, too dark for me but it does scream “modern”.

Traditionally, I prepared a collage of red bathroom accessories for you. Accessorizing in bathrooms is usually a little limited but I hope you like it anyway.
